[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Burger King announced on the 12th that it will officially launch the menu for dogs, ‘Real Dogper,’ in collaboration with Harim Pet Food.
Harim Pet Food is the first company in Korea to produce human-grade pet food that meets safety and freshness standards suitable for human consumption. ‘Real Dogper,’ created through the collaboration between Burger King and Harim Pet Food, also uses human-grade ingredients and contains no synthetic preservatives.
‘Dogper,’ first introduced in 2019 as part of a consumer campaign, received great response from pet owners, with over 5,000 SNS posts sharing certification photos at the time.
Real Dogper features a larger size, 100% human-grade ingredients, high-quality protein from fresh beef, and superfood oats, considering both the health and taste preferences of dogs. It is priced at 2,500 KRW and is available at Burger King stores nationwide, except for some locations.
To celebrate the official launch of Real Dogper, Burger King is holding an SNS certification photo event. Customers who purchase Real Dogper in-store or via delivery and upload a certification photo on their personal SNS with the required hashtags such as ‘Real Dogper’ and ‘Burger King’ will be automatically entered into the draw. Prizes include first place (1 winner): 10 packs of Real Dogper and a pet family photo shoot voucher; second place (5 winners): 5 packs of Real Dogper and a 10,000 KRW Burger King gift card; third place (30 winners): 1 pack of Real Dogper and a Real Whopper mobile exchange voucher.
