[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] On the 11th, Choi In-ho, Chief of the Comprehensive Situation Headquarters of the Lee Nak-yeon Camp of the Democratic Party of Korea, Ko Jae-kyung, Deputy Chief of the Situation Room, and Seo Nuri, spokesperson, submitted an objection to the Central Election Commission at the party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, regarding the party's presidential candidate decision. The Lee camp argues that "if the party constitution and regulations are properly applied, candidate Lee Jae-myung's vote share is 49.32%, which is below the majority," and therefore "a runoff vote must be held according to the party constitution and regulations."
