[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Nambu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City (Chief Lee Jeong-ja) announced on the 11th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Gwangju Design Center to promote fire safety culture in the Yangnim Historical and Cultural Village.
This MOU was established to ensure fire safety at the cultural tourism attractions in the Yangnim area and to create a fire safety environment where many people can use the facilities with peace of mind.
The two organizations agreed to actively cooperate in ▲ joint efforts to foster a sound fire safety culture ▲ mutual exchange through cultural events and volunteer activities ▲ fire drills ▲ maintaining an organic cooperation system.
The Nambu Fire Station is conducting fire safety campaigns, installing visible fire extinguishers in narrow alleys, and providing education to related personnel to prevent fires in the Yangnim Historical and Cultural Village.
Chief Lee Jeong-ja stated, “Through this MOU to establish a fire safety network, we will create a safe Yangnim Historical and Cultural Village free from fire concerns and actively promote the distribution of residential fire safety facilities and fire drills through mutual cooperation.”
