Kim Hyung-mo, Chairman of Hampyeong County Council, Receives 'Local Legislative Service Award'

[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Kim Hyungmo, chairman of the Hampyeong County Council, announced on the 11th that he received the ‘Legislative Service Award’ presented by the City and County Council Chairpersons Association on the 8th.

The Legislative Service Award is given to council members who have led regional development through active legislative activities and have dedicated and served the residents, commemorating the 30th anniversary of local councils.

Chairman Kim has focused on community harmony and county administration development while serving as the chairman of the 8th term second half of the Hampyeong County Council, actively engaging in legislative activities for the development of Hampyeong County.

He also took the lead in laying the foundation for improving the quality of life of residents by proposing numerous bills, including the ‘Hampyeong County Ordinance on Support for Prevention of Electric Communication Financial Fraud’ and the ‘Hampyeong County Social Network Service Management and Operation Ordinance’.

Chairman Kim Hyungmo expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am very thankful to the residents for trusting and supporting our council,” and added, “I will not lose my initial resolve during the remaining term and will work even harder on legislative activities together with my fellow council members.”
