AI Interview, Resume Clinic, and Other Side Events
The annual Youth Recruitment Fair for the logistics industry, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, will be held from the 19th.
This recruitment fair is organized by the Korea Integrated Logistics Association and supported by nine leading logistics organizations, including Korea Railroad Corporation and regional port authorities. Approximately 50 companies, including CJ Logistics, Coupang, and Hanjin, are expected to participate.
This year's fair will also be held online to prevent the spread of COVID-19, supporting all stages from recruitment briefings to interviews and employment consultations. The event will be held twice: from the 19th to the 29th for major domestic logistics companies, and from the 16th to the 26th of next month for startup companies.
From the 19th, those interested in employment and recruitment consultations can visit the recruitment fair website to find companies and apply for video interviews or online consultations. Applications for the second round of startup companies will be accepted starting from the 16th of next month.
Since some companies will only conduct consultations due to their own recruitment schedules, applicants should distinguish between recruitment companies and consultation-only companies when applying.
Various programs such as AI interviews, resume clinics, and live online recruitment briefings, which have recently become a hot topic, will also be available.
The AI interview involves a mock interview conducted with artificial intelligence trained on recruitment-related algorithm analysis results, providing job seekers with feedback on their answers, tone, and attitude.
Kim Baeseong, Director of the Logistics Policy Division at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, said, "The logistics industry is a core sector that has rapidly grown in the COVID-19 era due to online and non-face-to-face services, and it remains a future industry with high growth potential in the post-COVID era," adding, "We hope it serves as an opportunity for youth to seek employment and self-development."
