Sahmyook University Shares Innovation Support Project Results with Kwangwoon University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, and Seoul Women's University Professor Min Kyung-chan, Honorary Professor at Yonsei University, is delivering the keynote speech.


[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samyook University (President Kim Ilmok) announced on the 7th that it held a University Innovation Support Project Performance Forum in collaboration with four universities in the Nowon area, including Kwangwoon University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, and Seoul Women's University.


The forum was held in a hybrid online and offline format the previous day at Samyook University's Yohan Hall, Hong Myunggi Hall, with attendance from Samyook University President Kim Ilmok, Kwangwoon University President Yoo Jisang, Seoul National University of Science and Technology President Lee Donghoon, Seoul Women's University President Seung Hyunwoo, as well as heads and officials of the University Innovation Support Project from the four universities.


The forum began with an opening address by Samyook University President Kim Ilmok and welcome speeches from the presidents of each university, followed by a keynote lecture titled "How to Live in the Future: Beyond Survival to Vision" by Professor Emeritus Min Kyungchan of Yonsei University. Professor Min stated, "Universities must share visions, resources, and ideas to create joint leadership," adding, "Through this, we should lead individual changes in students and nurture talents who contribute to future generations and humanity worldwide."

Following this, presentations were made by each university on △ Establishment and operation of expert working groups (Yoon Changwon, Manager, Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, Kwangwoon University) △ Dreaming of a Care Community ? Samyook Village Project (Choi Kyungcheon, Director, Character Education Institute, Samyook University) △ Industry-Academic Convergence Research House, Da Vinci Lab Village (Park Geun, Deputy Director, Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, Seoul National University of Science and Technology) △ Social Innovation (SI) Education Specialization Case (Park Namchun, Director, SI Education Center, Seoul Women's University), along with student presentations.


President Kim Ilmok said, "I hope that the four universities?Kwangwoon University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul Women's University, and Samyook University?will strengthen their cooperative relationships by organically communicating and sharing information," adding, "Furthermore, I expect that university innovation will contribute to regional and national development."
