[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Dong-A Pharmaceutical announced on the 7th that it will raise the supply price of Bacchus D sold at pharmacies starting next month on the 1st.
The increase rate is 12.2% based on the supply price, marking the first price hike in 6 years and 7 months since April 1, 2015.
A Dong-A Pharmaceutical official stated, "Until now, we have tried to suppress the supply price increase as much as possible considering the burden on pharmacies and customers, but due to the continuous rise in labor and logistics costs and other expenses, we have inevitably decided to raise the price," and added, "We will continue to strive to provide ongoing product quality improvements and services."
