[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] Recently, as more people have been claiming aftereffects following vaccination, voices expressing such concerns have also emerged in the entertainment industry.

On the 4th, actress Park So-jin, formerly of Girl's Day, posted on her social media (SNS), "Today, I was so startled by my heart pounding endlessly that I decided to share my vaccine symptom review." She shared her experience over five days starting from the day of vaccination.

Park So-jin said that on the day of vaccination, the 28th of last month, after receiving the Moderna vaccine, "(After vaccination) 30 minutes later, my left hand's back and palm tingled. Gradually, only the left side of my face and body felt numb and tingling. My heart was pounding as if I had drunk a lot of coffee. After a nap, my heart felt better. While watching TV after dinner, only my left hand and left leg felt cold," she explained.

She added that she woke up at night feeling body aches, saying, "My left hand seemed swollen, so I clenched and unclenched my fist, but my fingers felt numb, and the fourth and fifth fingers twitched unnaturally when I clenched my fist." She took three painkillers.

She also wrote, "On the second day, I felt tired and had body aches. Even the joints of my fingers hurt. Took three painkillers." She continued, "On the third day, my eyes started to look lively. Took one painkiller."

On the fourth day, Park So-jin said, "My head felt a bit heavy. My body felt light. I thought I was finally okay and went out for two and a half hours," but added, "From late at night that day, my head hurt a lot. It was very painful. My nose and eyes felt heavy and dull as if I had a cold. I felt nauseous. My heart was pounding so much that I couldn't sleep. Took four painkillers."

Finally, she said, "On the fifth day, while sleeping, my heart was pounding like someone who drank a lot of alcohol, and I woke up after four hours of sleep. While sleeping, it felt like someone was pressing on my chest, making it tight. I could breathe, but my chest felt blocked. I felt heartburn and nausea. I was dizzy. The coughing and runny nose symptoms that briefly appeared on the fourth day disappeared," she added.

This is not the first time someone in the entertainment industry has complained about vaccine aftereffects. This isn't menopause, right?"

Also, on the 3rd, AOA member and actress Seolhyun asked, "Am I the only one whose armpit hurts after the vaccine?"

Moreover, mixed martial artist Choo Sung-hoon said, "I've never experienced this before, but after the vaccine shot, I felt strange," reporting that his heart rate reached 190 during running. Eventually, Choo visited a hospital and shared that he underwent a CT scan and additional tests.
