Choo Mi-ae: "Yoon Seok-yeol's Palm Marked with King (王), Early Evidence of Treason Plot"

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Former Minister of Justice and Democratic Party presidential primary candidate Chu Mi-ae fiercely criticized Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party candidate, saying that Yoon's palm "king (王)" character symbolized a rebellious intent to usurp popular sovereignty from early on and proved that he was a political prosecutor.

On the 5th, before the Gyeonggi Province Future Vision presentation held at the Gyeonggi Provincial Council in Suwon, Chu attended a Democratic Party provincial assembly and claimed, "Yoon Seok-yeol was nurtured not by me but by the conservative opposition party and the media."

Regarding the responsibility of Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung in the Seongnam Daejang-dong incident, she said, "In fact, it is mainly the (opposition) People Power Party side where those involved in the Daejang-dong case are being revealed," and dismissed calls for a special prosecutor by saying, "Therefore, the People Power Party's demand for a special prosecutor is a political offensive."

She added, "We should not spend time on forming a special prosecutor but need a swift and focused investigation," and questioned, "Isn't the People Power Party's position to disperse or delay the investigation to destroy evidence and divert public opinion far away?"

Chu emphasized, "Looking at Yoon Seok-yeol's commissioned accusation case and the Daejang-dong real estate development case, the direct and indirect involvement of current and former prosecutors clearly played a role in overlooking unjust pursuit of private interests and illegal acts," and stressed, "If the prosecution does not stand upright, it cannot correct the wrongs of the vested interest cartel, nor can judicial and social justice be properly established."

She continued, "The essence and reality of the Daejang-dong land speculation shaking the Republic of Korea and Yoon Seok-yeol's national order disruption case are one and the same, rooted in the corrupt vested interest alliance of 'prosecution-media-politics-police-judiciary,'" and directly attacked, "The desire to manipulate power has revealed itself as Yoon Seok-yeol's political ambition, and the greed for wealth accumulation and private interest pursuit has shown a glimpse of itself in Daejang-dong."

As Gyeonggi Province pledges, Chu proposed ▲ upgrading to Gyeonggi Peace Special Autonomous Province ▲ creating a 'Reverse Kaesong Industrial Complex' in the Paju area combining North Korean labor with South Korean technology and facilities ▲ designating the DMZ and Panmunjom area as an ecological peace zone and developing a peace tourism special district ▲ reviewing the Ganghwa~Ganseong East-West Peace Expressway ▲ promoting the extension of Seoul subway, metropolitan railway, KTX, and SRT lines to border areas ▲ designating a national strategic semiconductor complex centered on Suwon ▲ designating the eastern region as a tourism, recreation, and cultural specialized zone and fostering a hub for Hallyu culture ▲ timely promotion of confirmed GTX-A, B, and C routes and future route extensions.
