[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 5th that it will additionally support the Buk-gu type 3-no (no collateral, no interest, no guarantee fee) Didimdol special guarantee for tenant small business owners suffering from business difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Based on the results of the small business owners survey conducted last year, Buk-gu provided special guarantee support worth 1.8 billion KRW to tenant small business owners in the region in the first half of this year.
This special guarantee is worth 600 million KRW and is available to small business owners with business locations in Buk-gu.
Small business owners can receive support up to 20 million KRW depending on each company's credit rating and sales amount.
With the guarantee from the Gwangju Credit Guarantee Foundation, loans can be obtained without collateral and can be repaid over 5 years.
Buk-gu supports the full interest and guarantee fee (0.7%) for one year, and 2% interest in the second year.
The special guarantee program operates until the guarantee funds are exhausted, and applications can be made on the Gwangju Credit Guarantee Foundation website, followed by consultation and screening, with support available at all branches of Gwangju Bank.
District Mayor Moon In of Buk-gu said, “We will continue to make every effort to prepare support measures that help alleviate the financial burden and assist the business activities of local small business owners.”
