Koala Introduces Unique Technology of Koala Mattress Through 'Good Sleep' Campaign Koala's publicly released campaign video "The Art of Good Sleep."

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] Australian home furniture company 'Koala' has released a campaign video titled 'The Art of Good Sleep' featuring Australian-born broadcaster Sam Hammington.


The Art of Good Sleep campaign introduces the advanced technologies of Koala mattresses, reflecting the ongoing sleep research conducted by Koala. In the campaign video, Sam Hammington, both a researcher and experiencer, explains how Koala mattresses that provide 'good sleep' address the shortcomings of traditional mattresses. Through the video, viewers can discover how the four core hidden technologies of Koala mattresses?CloudCell, Zero Disturbance, FoamSpring, and the dual-sided comfort layer?help facilitate comfortable sleep.


The first technology introduced is CloudCell, a high-density foam with an open-cell structure that compensates for the drawbacks of conventional mattresses, emphasizing the feeling of softness and support as if lying on a cloud. The second technology is Zero Disturbance, which absorbs movements and shocks from a sleeping partner to prevent disturbance. The video features Sam Hammington comfortably taking a nap even while children are jumping on the bed.


FoamSpring, which responds differently according to body posture and pressure to maintain a comfortable sleeping position, is also introduced. FoamSpring, meaning foam designed in the shape of springs, is a technology applied to Koala’s most premium mattress model, Soulmate. Lastly, the video highlights the top comfort layer, which is separable from the bottom part and can be flipped to use different softness levels on each side according to preference.


The Koala mattresses featured in this video include three models: Koala Mattress, Koala Calm, and Koala Soulmate. The campaign video is available on Koala’s official YouTube channel and official Instagram account.


Kwon Sunyoung, Marketing Director of Koala Korea, stated, "Through this campaign video, we were able to more intuitively showcase the various strengths that differentiate Koala mattresses from traditional mattresses," adding, "Since mattresses are products directly linked to healthy sleep habits, we hope Koala’s philosophy of continuously researching trustworthy mattress technologies is well conveyed."
