Kia Hosts 'K9 Golf Class' with Pro Im Jin-han

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Kia announced on the 5th that it will hold an invitation event for THE K9 membership customers called “K9 Golf Class with Pro Im Jin-han.”

The event offers THE K9 membership customers a one-point golf lesson opportunity with Im Jin-han, the top golf instructor in Korea, and will be held while touring seven major cities nationwide (Daejeon, Gwangju, Daegu, Busan, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Seoul).

In addition to Pro Im Jin-han, three popular coaching pros (Pro Lee Joo-il, Pro Seo Yoo-jung, Pro Bae Jae-hee) will also attend to provide focused lessons by golf club type.

Kia will conduct the golf classes as small-scale invitation-only events, allowing participation only for customers who have passed 14 days after their second vaccine dose or have tested negative within 72 hours prior to the event date, considering social distancing measures.

Winning customers may attend the class with one accompanying person, and whether to bring a companion must be selected at the time of application.

Each lesson session invites a total of 12 customers including companions, and customers will be divided into three groups of four to freely receive 160 minutes of one-point lessons and participate in practice sessions on their desired golf swings such as ▲driver ▲iron/wood ▲approach.

Kia plans to prepare three sessions per region and invite a total of 252 people including companions, 36 per each of the seven regions.

The events will be held starting in Daejeon on the 12th, followed by Gwangju on the 13th, Daegu on the 19th, Busan on the 20th, Incheon on the 26th, Gyeonggi on November 17th, and Seoul on November 19th. Selected golf practice ranges in each region will strictly follow quarantine guidelines.

THE K9 membership can apply through Kia’s official website and other channels until the 5th of next month, and winners will be notified individually.

A Kia official said, “We planned this invitation event to revitalize the daily lives of THE K9 membership customers exhausted by COVID-19 through the golf class of Pro Im Jin-han, who is currently the most popular golf coach in Korea,” adding, “We will continue to plan and provide various events and services exclusively for THE K9 membership customers.”
