Choose a slogan to promote 'Gimhae, the main host city of the 2024 National Sports Festival' and win prizes~

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, is conducting a citizen preference survey to select the final winning slogan for the '2024 National Sports Festival Main Host City Gimhae Slogan Contest.'

According to the city on the 5th, the preference survey will be held from the 6th to the 15th on the city website (Citizen Participation → Survey).

Among the total 113 slogans received during the contest period, 10 slogans selected as final candidates through the first and second rounds of screening are subject to the survey.

Any Gimhae citizen can participate, and each person can select up to two slogans.

To increase citizen participation and gather diverse opinions, the city will draw 50 participants from the survey respondents and provide them with mobile gift certificates worth about 10,000 KRW.

The city plans to select four final winning slogans (1 grand prize, 1 excellence prize, 2 encouragement prizes) based on the most votes received from citizens and use them as phrases to promote Gimhae as the main host city of the National Sports Festival.

A city official said, "By utilizing slogans created through citizen participation, we will widely promote Gimhae City's determination for a successful hosting as the main host city of the 2024 National Sports Festival, and we will continue to prepare together with citizens to make it a festival of communication and harmony."
