Eco-Friendly Startup Producing Paper Products Exhibits at Maru180 1st Floor
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Asan Nanum Foundation (Chairman Han Jeong-hwa) announced on the 5th that it will launch season 3 of the popup store 'Flip Lobby' for startups.
Flip Lobby is a popup store opened and operated by Asan Nanum Foundation on the first floor of the Startup Support Center Maru180 since last May. It was established to provide startups with opportunities to promote their products and for the public to experience startup products.
The startups selected for this season 3 are Gakdot, Ruby, and Hallikei. Gakdot is a startup that develops eco-friendly solutions for the environment and people by creating products using paper, stone paper, and more. Ruby is a startup that designs flowerpots and vases using paper, aiming to solve emotional and social issues of young adults with developmental disabilities through design. Hallikei is a vegan fashion brand that recycles discarded products to make bags, wallets, pouches, and more. All three selected teams share the commonality of making products using eco-friendly materials.
Startups wishing to join Flip Lobby can apply through the official websites of Asan Nanum Foundation or Maru180. Startups that are finally selected through screening can operate the popup store rent-free for up to two months.
Cheon Seong-woo, head of the Startup Center Accelerating Team at Asan Nanum Foundation, said, "Since three teams concerned with the sustainability of people and the environment have joined, I hope everyone visiting Maru180 will consider an environmentally friendly lifestyle and experience eco-friendly products made by startups."
