Coventry University Korea Center Holds 'Jeonju Hanji Hanbok Fashion Show' at Coventry University UK

The Korea Center at Coventry University held a Jeonju Hanji Hanbok fashion show on the 1st (11 PM Korean time) at School Square One to celebrate Korea Day in Coventry, UK.
The fashion show event was conducted in cooperation with Jeonju City and the Korean Cultural Center in the UK.
Under the theme of "Sustainable City, Sustainable Fashion," this event was filled with various programs showcasing the essence of Korean culture, including the Jeonju Hanji Hanbok fashion show, performances using calligraphy, Samulnori, and traditional Korean music performances.
Especially, with the cooperation of the Jeonju Fashion Association (President Choi Kyungeun), the fashion show stage featured various types and colors of Hanji Hanbok, including Daeryebok, Gonryongpo, Dopo, and Jangot, which were traditionally worn by kings during the Joseon Dynasty.
On this day, Coventry citizens enjoyed learning about Korean culture by watching the Hanbok fashion show, experiencing Hanji, and viewing dolls such as the otter from Jeonju wearing Hanbok and the teddy bear symbolizing the UK.
