[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] ○…‘ShopRite Champ’ Celine Boutier (France) jumped to 34th place.


In the weekly women's golf world rankings officially announced on the morning of the 5th (Korean time), she received 2.70 points, rising 31 spots from 65th place last week. In the final 3rd round of the LPGA Tour ShopRite Classic (total prize money $1.75 million) held the previous day at Bay Course, Seaview Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey, USA, she shot 8 under par to complete a one-stroke victory. This is her second career win in 2 years and 8 months since winning the ISPS Handa Vic Open in February 2019.


There were no changes in the top ranks: Nelly Korda (USA) remains 1st (9.66 points), Ko Jin-young (26) 2nd (8.22 points), Park In-bee (33, KB Financial Group) 3rd (6.98 points), Kim Sei-young (28, Mediheal) 4th (6.34 points), and Hanaoka Nasa (Japan) 5th (5.64 points). Minjee Lee (Australia), runner-up at the Hana Financial Group Championship, rose one spot to 6th (5.57 points). Song Ga-eun (21, MG Saemaeul Geumgo), winner of the Hana Financial Group Championship, jumped 72 spots to 89th (1.40 points).
