The One Business Hotel Co., Ltd. Signs MOU for Construction of Tourist Hotel
[Gangjin=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] On the 29th, Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for investment to build a tourism accommodation (tourism hotel) facility with The One Business Hotel Co., Ltd. (CEO Moon Byung-ok) at the small conference room of the county office.
According to the county on the 29th, The One Business Tourism Hotel will be located on a 1004㎡ (304 pyeong) site in Pyeongdong-ri, Gangjin-eup, with 10 floors and 48 rooms. The interior will include a cafe and lobby on the 1st floor, a restaurant and screen golf course on the 2nd floor, a banquet hall on the 3rd floor, guest rooms on the 4th to 9th floors, and a restaurant and rest facilities on the 10th floor, equipped with the latest facilities.
The attraction of The One Tourism Hotel in Gangjin is part of the 7th local government’s pledge to create a stay-type tourist destination. Along with Dasan Beach & Resort and K-STAY Tourism Hotel, it is expected to solve accommodation issues for tourists and sports competition participants who visit annually, creating a synergy effect to develop into a stay-type tourist destination.
CEO Moon Byung-ok said, “Based on the tourism hotel management know-how accumulated so far, we will welcome residents and tourists with architecture that suits the beautiful Gangjin and the latest interior facilities,” adding, “We aim to complete construction by April next year and contribute to Gangjin-gun’s tourism industry policy.”
County Governor Lee Seung-ok said, “Despite the difficulties in the tourism industry amid the COVID-19 crisis, I thank CEO Moon Byung-ok for boldly deciding to invest in the tourism hotel business,” and added, “Gangjin-gun will spare no administrative support for the successful construction and operation of The One Tourism Hotel in Gangjin, which will be the foundation for the development of Gangjin’s stay-type tourism industry.”
Meanwhile, The One Business Tourism Hotel Co., Ltd. currently operates hotels in Yeosu-si and Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do, and has rich experience in constructing buildings such as nursing hospitals and multiple officetels, continuously striving to incorporate beauty into buildings.
