[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Global accounting and consulting firm EY Hanyoung announced on the 29th that it has obtained the Best HRD (Best Human Resource Development) certification for 2021 for the third consecutive time, following 2015 and 2018. EY Hanyoung is the only large domestic accounting firm selected as a Best HRD institution this year.
The Best HRD certification system for the private sector, implemented since 2006, is a program jointly certified by four government ministries: the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. It selects excellent institutions annually to promote human resource development in private organizations. The certification is valid for three years.
EY Hanyoung was recognized for key achievements such as non-face-to-face training for employees in response to COVID-19 and the digital competency certification system ‘EY Badge’ to enhance employees' expertise, and was selected as a re-certified institution in the large enterprise category for 2021.
In addition, to practice ‘Building a Better Working World,’ EY Hanyoung invests in comprehensive training programs, corporate culture, and technology to support employee competency development and career growth. Through this certification, EY Hanyoung will receive benefits for the next three years, including exemption from regular labor inspections, additional points in public bidding, and the right to use the government-awarded ‘Best HRD’ certification mark.
