These trails will be accessible from November 1st to November 30th. However, the Gyeongneung to nursery forest trail in Donggureung, Guri, will open from November 2nd. Visiting hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with visits ending at 4:30 p.m. in November.
The forest trails around the Joseon Royal Tombs are lined with Japanese snowbell trees, Manchurian ash, Bokjaginamu trees, firs, pines, oaks, and maples. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Royal Tombs and Historic Sites Headquarters advises visitors to maintain a distance of at least 2 meters from others, follow one-way paths within the forest trails, and wear masks when entering multi-use facilities. A representative from the Headquarters stated, "We are improving the unique vegetation environment and convenience and safety facilities to present better forest trails," adding, "We will also open the Guri Donggureung Nature Learning Center, Paju Jangneung Ecological Forest Trail, and Namyangju King Gwanghaegun's Tomb Forest Trail as soon as maintenance is completed."
