[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Moltail, responsible for Korea Center's overseas business, announced on the 29th that it has opened a logistics center in Australia.
The Australian logistics center is a standalone building with a total area of 6,518m² (1,972 pyeong), located in northeastern Queensland, and is within a one-hour drive to Brisbane International Airport.
The opening of this logistics center was driven by numerous requests from Moltail customers and domestic direct purchase shoppers, as well as Moltail's strategy to secure logistics in the South Pacific. Additionally, by partnering with a specialized local Australian logistics center, the facility can flexibly utilize space according to changes in cargo volume during peak direct purchase seasons and promotional periods.
A Moltail representative stated, "Customers are demanding a wide variety of products from many countries, beyond the trend of purchasing only specific popular items directly." He added, "With the opening of the Australian logistics center, Moltail now operates 10 logistics centers in 8 countries and will do its best to provide the best logistics tech services."
