The Special Personnel Hearing Committee for the President of Gwangju Urban Corporation of the Gwangju Metropolitan Council announced on the morning of the 28th that it appointed experts to support the committee's activities and listened to a report on the major business promotion status under the jurisdiction of Gwangju Urban Corporation.
Professor Seong Baekseop of Chosun University and Professor Jeong Jepyeong of Honam University were appointed as experts.
They will carry out advisory activities necessary to verify the qualifications and expertise of the candidate for president of Gwangju Urban Corporation.
The personnel committee listened to business reports including the basic status of Gwangju Urban Corporation, major pending projects, and the progress of each project, and reviewed and collected materials to be used in the hearing through questions and answers.
Kim Ikju, chairman of the personnel committee, said, “Since Gwangju Urban Corporation is a key public institution supporting the city’s urban regeneration and residential welfare, we will thoroughly verify the candidate’s expertise and management capabilities at the upcoming personnel hearing based on today’s business report.”
Meanwhile, the personnel hearing for Jeong Mingon, the candidate for president of Gwangju Urban Corporation, is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on the 1st of next month.
