[Asia Economy (Gwangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Korea Ceramic Foundation is recruiting participants for the educational program "Blue and White Porcelain Stationery Loved by Joseon Scholars" until the 7th of next month.
This program is linked to the special exhibition "Cobalt Blue: The Study Room Scenery of the Late Joseon Period" at the Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum, held from the 1st of next month to November 28th, and will be conducted as a non-face-to-face education.
After viewing the online exhibition and video education, participants will complete a work by expressing their thoughts and feelings using cobalt pigment on a ceramic stationery experience kit.
Anyone, including elementary, middle, and high school students and families, can apply. The number of applicants is limited to a maximum of 2 people per team. A total of 200 families (400 people) will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis, and participation is free of charge.
An educational experience kit worth approximately 60,000 KRW for two people will also be provided free of charge.
The education will be conducted for one month from the 12th of next month to November 12th through Naver Band. Photos of the completed works will be exhibited online via the Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum's social media (Instagram).
Applications can be submitted by filling out the online Naver form on the Korea Ceramic Foundation website.
