'2021 Harley Owners Rally'... Course Riding · Grand Tour Oct. 1~31
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] A large-scale untact riding event where participants can feel the unique atmosphere of Gangwon-do will be held throughout Gangwon-do during the month of October.
Gangwon-do expects to introduce every corner of its tourist attractions and revitalize the local economy through this event.
On the 28th, according to Gangwon-do and Harley-Davidson Korea, the '2021 Harley Owners Rally' will be held from October 1 to 31 across Gangwon-do, featuring 'Course Riding' and an 'Untact Grand Tour.'
The 'Course Riding' called 'Gangwon Nature Road' is a ride that can be enjoyed alone or with a small group. Riders can enjoy riding in Gangwon-do and certify it on social media with the designated hashtags (#HarleyOwnersRally #RideHarleyGangwon).
'Gangwon Nature Road' consists of ▲Course 1 Lake Drive Road (Gangchon IC~Inje) ▲Course 2 Seoraksan Drive Road (Inje~Bukyangyang IC) ▲Course 3 High Pass Drive Road (Bukyangyang IC~Pyeongchang IC) ▲Course 4 Winding Drive Road (Pyeongchang IC~Jeongseon) ▲Course 5 Deep Mountain Drive Road (Jeongseon~Samcheok) ▲Course 6 Sea Drive Road (Samcheok~Pyeongchang IC) ▲Course 7 Countryside Scenery Drive Road (Pyeongchang IC~Gangchon IC).
The highlight of the rally, the 'Grand Tour,' will be conducted in an untact manner on October 9 and October 16, where participants ride designated sections on specified dates without gathering in groups.
An event awarding a new model about to be released also attracts riders' attention. Among participants who receive the rally package, one will be selected by lottery to receive a 'Sportster S (Sportster™ S)'.
Especially this year, the 2021 Harley Owners Rally package, including a motorcycle raffle ticket, will be provided to all participants.
The rally package includes a pin, patch, button badge, sticker, flag with the event logo, clothing & accessory discount coupons, and one Sportster S raffle ticket.
This year’s event is officially sponsored by Gangwon-do, the Korea Tourism Development Institute, and the Gangwon branch of the Korea Tourism Organization, and applications to participate can be made through the official Harley-Davidson website and official social media channels.
A Harley-Davidson Korea official said, "In the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, we are able to hold an untact rally in collaboration with local governments, allowing participants to enjoy riding more joyfully in accordance with the new normal."
