[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On Tuesday the 28th, the whole country will be cloudy with raindrops falling in some areas. Rain will start in Incheon and the West Coast region from the afternoon and expand to Seoul and inland Gyeonggi from the night.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) stated that due to the influence of a low-pressure system approaching from the West Sea, rain will begin in Incheon, the West Coast of Gyeonggi, and the West Coast of Chungnam from the afternoon, and will expand to Seoul, inland Gyeonggi, northern Chungbuk, and northern Gyeongbuk at night.

Tomorrow, strong rain accompanied by thunder and lightning with an hourly rainfall of 20 to 30mm will fall in the central region and Gyeongsang area. The expected precipitation until the 29th is 20 to 80mm in the central region and the five West Sea islands, and 10 to 50mm in the southern region, Jeju Island, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo.

On the 28th, the daily temperature difference will be more than 10 degrees Celsius mainly in the central inland areas, so health management should be taken seriously. The highest daytime temperature on the 28th is expected to be 23 to 27 degrees Celsius, and the lowest morning temperature on the 29th is expected to be 18 to 22 degrees Celsius.

Along the coast of Jeju Island and the southern coast of Jeonnam, high waves are expected to surge onto sandy beaches or overflow coastal roads and breakwaters due to the influx of swells, so caution is required.

The KMA stated, "When swells occur, even waves around 1.5m can cause accidents along the coast, so please refrain from approaching coastal areas to prevent casualties and pay special attention to coastal safety accidents."

Strong winds of 7 to 13 meters per second will blow until daytime in the central West Sea offshore area, and waves will gradually rise in the outer southern East Sea offshore area and the southern offshore area of Jeju Island, reaching very high levels of 2.0 to 4.0 meters on the 29th.
