The Dental Hygiene Department also achieved a high pass rate of 97.5%, with 156 out of 160 candidates passing the Dental Hygienist National Examination last year. The national average pass rate was 74.1%.
The Physical Therapy and Nursing Departments also recorded high pass rates of 96.8% and 96.6%, respectively, last year.
The Occupational Therapy Department had an employment rate of 88.6%, with 78 out of 88 eligible graduates employed, according to last year's employment statistics survey released by the Ministry of Education.
Yang Soo, Vice President of Nursing and Health at Kyungbok University, emphasized, "The reason why the nursing and health care departments at Kyungbok University achieve high national exam pass rates and employment rates every year is because we are actively nurturing talent through the NCS (National Competency Standards) curriculum and the establishment of state-of-the-art practice centers."
Vice President Yang added, "In particular, the operation of a field-centered curriculum, programs to enhance self-directed learning abilities through dedicated academic advisors from admission, systematic management, specialized national exam programs, and one-on-one mentoring programs tailored to student levels all play significant roles."
