[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Seunghyun] Mokpo City, Jeollanam-do, announced on the 27th that it held a meeting with about 20 locations including Daeyang, Sanjeong Agricultural and Industrial Complex, Sapjin, Ceramic Industrial Complex, and excellent companies located in the area, together with the Jeonnam Employment and Labor Research Institute.

The meeting was also attended by the Mokpo Fisheries Food Support Center Foundation and the Mokpo Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

This meeting was organized to strengthen the employment network within the Mokpo industrial complex and to listen to the difficulties faced by companies and seek solutions.

The city, together with the Jeonnam Employment and Labor Research Institute, a consortium institution for region- and industry-tailored Jeonnam-type companion job projects, introduced various corporate support programs and support programs for companies located in the Mokpo industrial complex amid the employment situation frozen by COVID-19.

Along with this, they listened attentively to vivid opinions from the field, shared various job-related support policies, and discussed development plans.

Companies proposed requests such as securing various convenience facilities within the industrial complex, inquiries about platforms for sharing corporate support and job information, and changes and increases in industrial complex shuttle bus routes.

Seo Hyungbin, Director of the Economic and Industrial Bureau, stated, “I believe this provided an opportunity to devise job projects that can better assist companies and projects to improve employee welfare through listening to opinions from the field. It was a meaningful time where sharing various opinions and difficulties of many company representatives became encouragement and motivation for mutual development.”
