Jangseong-gun Recruiting Operators for 'Sky Lounge' Until November 26

[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Dooseok) announced on the 27th that it is recruiting an operator for the Sky Lounge inside the newly built public stadium ‘Yellow City Stadium,’ which will officially open next month.

The Yellow City Stadium, equipped with a main stadium with a capacity of 5,000 seats, auxiliary stadiums, and a Ssireum wrestling arena, attracts attention as it is built on a 76,000㎡ site created through a creative idea of altering the flow of the Hwangryong River.

In particular, the stadium is located near an indoor swimming pool, Hong Gil-dong Gymnasium, and the county library, and the construction of the Cheongun Underpass is expected to significantly improve transportation connections with the center of Jangseong-eup.

The Yellow City Stadium is expected to become a hub leading the development of sports and culture in Jangseong in the future.

The Sky Lounge, for which the operator is being recruited, is located on the 4th floor of the main stadium building, offering a panoramic view of the Hwangryong River and the Yellow City Stadium.

The rental area is 201㎡, and the intended use includes cafes or snack bars, with applicants proposing businesses suitable for the location.

Eligibility to apply is for individual business owners, corporations, or organizations aged 20 or older as of the announcement date (September 27) who have an address in the county.

Applications must be submitted to the county’s Cultural Facilities Business Office by November 26, including a proposal specifying the intended use and operation plan of the facility along with the application form.

The county will announce the successful bidder in December after a meeting of the evaluation committee.

Once the operator is confirmed, remodeling work will be carried out, and business is expected to commence around January next year.

The usage permission period is three years from the contract date and can be extended once.
