Expo Safety Management Best Practices for Safe Expo Hosting, Emphasizing Thorough Handling of Assigned Tasks

On the morning of the 27th, the county held an executive meeting chaired by Mayor Seo, where reports were given on important pending projects to be promoted by each department, and cooperation among departments was secured to ensure smooth project progress.

Mayor Seo stated, “Following the Chuseok holiday, there has been a rapid increase in new confirmed cases of COVID-19,” and urged, “Please do not let your guard down until the very end and do your best in quarantine and safety management so that visitors and residents can enjoy the Expo with peace of mind.”

He continued, “The Expo has passed its halfway point and today marks the 18th day. Thanks to the support work of the staff and the cooperation of the organizing committee and residents, it is proceeding smoothly,” emphasizing, “Along with efforts for the successful hosting of the Expo, we must also ensure that routine duties are not neglected and be thorough in all responsibilities.”

In addition, Mayor Seo requested thorough efforts in establishing an organic cooperation system among departments to promote comprehensive measures for increasing the population, responding to the 265th extraordinary session, preparing next year’s budget, securing national and provincial funds, and promoting prompt execution.

Mayor Seo concluded, “Despite the difficulties posed by COVID-19, we are navigating toward a successful Expo through all our efforts,” and said, “During the remaining period, please do your utmost with more thorough quarantine activities and a proactive attitude to make this the safest and most successful Expo.”
