From the 1st to the 17th of next month... Comfort for Bodies and Minds Weary from COVID-19
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 27th that it will hold the ‘Overcome COVID-19! Hampyeong Cheonji-gil Online Walking Contest Connecting Nature and People’ from the 1st to the 17th of next month.
This event is organized to wish for the successful hosting of the 2021 Korea Chrysanthemum Festival and to comfort the body and mind exhausted by COVID-19.
Anyone with a smartphone can participate by downloading the mobile app ‘Walk On’ and joining the Hampyeong-gun community ‘Everyday Walking Day,’ then participating in the ‘Hampyeong Cheonji-gil Online Walking Contest Challenge.’
Participants must visit at least six out of eight Hampyeong Cheonji-gil courses, including Sasaek Garden and Sarang Garden, and receive stamps on their smartphones to certify their visits. Among them, the first 200 participants will receive gifts such as Hampyeong Love Gift Certificates.
Additionally, an event is prepared where 30 people who upload certification photos of participation along with walking reviews of Hampyeong Cheonji-gil, messages of support for overcoming COVID-19, or wishes for the success of the 2021 Korea Chrysanthemum Festival will receive Hampyeong Cheonji rice.
County Governor Lee Sang-ik stated, “During this difficult time for everyone due to COVID-19, I hope this will help residents regain some vitality and serve as an opportunity to promote walking in daily life. We will continue to promote various projects for health improvement.”
