[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Over 10.16 trillion won in the New Coronavirus Coexistence National Support Fund has been distributed to more than 40.66 million people.
According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 27th, as of 6 p.m. on the 26th, an additional 71,000 people received the National Support Fund, bringing the cumulative number of recipients to 40.668 million.
This accounts for 94.0% of the government's provisional target of 43.62 million people, meaning 78.7% of the entire population received the National Support Fund. The cumulative amount paid was recorded at 10.1671 trillion won.
There were 343,350 appeals, with 203,335 submitted online via the National Petition System and 140,015 submitted offline at town and township offices. Adjustments to health insurance premiums accounted for 140,393 cases, household composition changes for 118,784 people, and 19,616 people returned from overseas stays.
