Mokpo Coast Guard Station (Chief Im Jae-su) announced on the morning of the 27th that it held a transfer registration ceremony for 11 new maritime police officers of the 242nd class in compliance with COVID-19 prevention guidelines at the station building.


The 11 newly appointed 242nd maritime police officers (10 special appointments, 1 investigation) completed the basic training course at the Korea Maritime Police Training Institute, then were assigned to various departments within the police station for 15 weeks of practical training, and from the 17th, they will be working at frontline units such as patrol vessels and police substations.


Im Jae-su, Chief of Mokpo Coast Guard Station, urged, “As you take your first step as maritime police officers, I hope you carry pride and dignity, faithfully perform your duties, and become maritime police who dedicate yourselves to the nation and the people.”
