"Special Prosecutor Needed to Uncover the Core of the Daejang-dong Gate"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Seul-gi] Kim Eun-hye, a member of the People Power Party (Bundang-gu Gap), announced that banners related to 'Hwacheon Daeyu' installed in Daejang-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, were removed without permission.
On the 26th, Kim posted on her Facebook titled "All people are equal before the law. Therefore, a special prosecutor must be appointed," stating, "All four banners were damaged and disappeared within a day by someone," and added, "There are definitely those who do not want to hear the legitimate demands of residents asking to restore the rights taken away in the Daejang-dong development that created the money-making Hwacheon Daeyu."
Referring to reports about the severance pay received by the son of Assemblyman Kwak Sang-do, who worked at Hwacheon Daeyu, Kim emphasized, "I believe Assemblyman Kwak will also confidently respond to the special prosecutor's investigation along with his son in this desperate battlefield confronting the Seongnam city administration, which is accused of corruption, bribery, breach of trust, and abuse of power in the Daejang-dong gate where seven people monopolized the profits of public development."
Addressing the Democratic Party, Kim said, "Isn't it time to reveal the main culprit of the Daejang-dong gate?" and raised her voice, "Is it the People Power Party gate that the Democratic Party always blames, or is it the Seongnam city gate during Mayor Lee Jae-myung's administration, where the owner (Seongnam City and Urban Development Corporation) took the risk and the guest swept away thousands of billions? Why can't they say let's uncover this through a special prosecutor?"

Kim stated, "Governor Lee Jae-myung also said he did not gain a single won of illegal profit and regarded the prosecution as a vested interest group, so there is no reason not to respond to an objective special prosecutor," adding, "'The largest public interest recovery project since Dangun,' 'Seongnam City's greatest achievement that will be remembered in administrative history'?if so, a white paper should be created and widely promoted for generations. The silence of the Seongnam City government in Gyeonggi Province, which completely refuses national audit materials, is inconsistent."
She then urged, "Since Governor Lee Jae-myung said at a press conference, 'Actually, I designed this,' please introduce the secret to the public in detail and cooperate in revealing the truth of the gate."
Meanwhile, on the 26th, Bundang Police Station announced that they have arrested and are investigating two men, a man in his 60s identified as A and a man in his 40s identified as B, on charges of property damage.
