[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] Aspllo, a specialized company in semiconductor process gas supply and control components, has set its public offering price above the upper limit of the expected price band.
Aspllo announced on the 26th that it finalized the public offering price at 25,000 KRW following the demand forecast conducted over two days from the 16th to the 17th. The total amount raised is 15.75 billion KRW, and the market capitalization based on the public offering price is approximately 111.1 billion KRW. The previously suggested expected price band before the demand forecast was 19,000 to 22,000 KRW.
The demand forecast competition rate recorded 2,142.7 to 1. A total of 1,637 domestic and international institutional investors participated in the subscription of 346,500 shares, which is 55.0% of the total public offering volume. Including 7.6% of price non-disclosure, 93.7% of the bids were above the upper limit of the band.
A representative from Mirae Asset Securities, the lead underwriter, stated, "Although Aspllo currently mainly supplies semiconductor construction parts, it appears to have been highly evaluated for its potential business expansion into semiconductor equipment parts supply, full-scale parts module business, biopharmaceutical production processes, and entry into the hydrogen industry."
Founded in 2001, Aspllo succeeded in domestic production of semiconductor process gas components for the first time in Korea. It has a lineup capable of producing all parts related to gas processes. Based on excellent products, it has maintained a long-term partnership of over 15 years as a first-tier vendor for Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
Kang Doohong, CEO of Aspllo, said, "I am pleased that our competitiveness, accumulated since the start of Korea's first domestic production of semiconductor material components, has been recognized. We will continue our efforts to show Aspllo recognized in various markets including overseas."
Aspllo will conduct subscription from the 27th to the 28th and will enter the KOSDAQ market on the 7th of next month.
