Hyundai Livart Unveils Boldly Colored Furniture... "Will Enhance Design Competitiveness" 'Alley Illusion' Blue Gradation.

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Hyundai Livart has developed its own color manual and is continuously introducing furniture applying various colors. The strategy is to highlight differentiated design competitiveness and accelerate the penetration of the B2C furniture market.

Hyundai Livart announced on the 26th that it will launch 82 new products applying the 'Livart Color Palette.' The Livart Color Palette is an in-house color manual developed in collaboration with UK-based architectural and interior design specialist firm Ab Rogers Design, consisting of a total of 126 colors that express the brand philosophy of authenticity, value, and differentiation.

A Hyundai Livart official said, "As part of the 'Design First' policy, which has been making company-wide efforts to strengthen design capabilities recently, we have completed the development of an independent color manual. Starting with the new products for this year's F/W season, we will sequentially introduce products with significantly enhanced design competitiveness, including differentiated colors and linearity across all products."

Hyundai Livart is focusing on strengthening design competitiveness as a core strategy to capture the B2C furniture market. Since last year, it has established and operated the Creative Lab, an organization specializing in product development and CMF (color, material, finish) research.

The Ale Built-in Closet series, the first new product applying the Livart Color Palette, breaks the existing convention of mainly achromatic furniture such as white and gray by applying color to the front. It features various colors developed in-house, such as Midnight Blue, Starfish Orange, and Crab Red, and applies a gradient technique expressing the stages of changing color intensity.

The new products are released in four models: 'Illusion,' which highlights color gradation; 'Ermoso,' characterized by a matte surface texture without gloss; 'Gallery,' a tone-on-tone color with tonal differences in the same color; and 'Live Edge,' which applies a point color to the corner parts.

The Illusion model maximizes the gradient effect by applying back glass that can express colorless transparency on the door finish. Back glass is characterized by being clearer and more transparent than low-cost general glass with a green tint due to its lower iron content. The company explained that it uses 100% domestically produced glass to achieve high-quality finishing.

To express its unique colors more vividly, Hyundai Livart applied a 4mm thick premium PET film to the Ale series. This film is thicker than conventional films, offering excellent opacity and high weather resistance that minimizes color fading when exposed to external environments such as sunlight.

Starting with the Ale Built-in Closet series, new products applying the Livart Color Palette will be sequentially introduced for major B2C household items such as dining tables and sofas.

A Hyundai Livart official said, "We plan to continuously introduce differentiated design furniture such as desks, storage cabinets, and sofas with an original color identity. We will actively strengthen design competitiveness to capture the B2C furniture market, including launching furniture products co-developed with famous overseas designers."
