[Asia Economy Reporter Tae-min Ryu] The actual transaction price of a 34-pyeong unit at Acro River Park in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, has exceeded 4 billion KRW for the first time.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's real transaction price disclosure system on the 26th, an 84㎡ (exclusive area) unit at Acro River Park in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, was sold for 4.2 billion KRW on the 2nd of this month. This is the first case in the country where an 84㎡ apartment has been traded for over 4 billion KRW.
Until now, the highest sale price for an 84㎡ unit in Korea was at Acro River Park, which was traded for 3.98 billion KRW in June. Although there were five subsequent transactions in the following three months, none set a new record, but this month the price jumped sharply to 4.2 billion KRW.
The actual transaction price for an 84㎡ unit in this complex was 2.1 billion KRW in June 2017. Since then, it has steadily increased, doubling exactly by early this month. Acro River Park's 84㎡ unit was the first in Korea to achieve a "price per pyeong of 100 million KRW" in September 2019.
Other complexes in the Gangnam area are also seeing consecutive record-breaking transactions. The 84㎡ unit at Raemian Prestige in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, was traded for 3.6 billion KRW on the 3rd, setting a new record. On the 2nd, an 84㎡ unit at Raemian Shinbanpo Palace in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, was sold for 3.03 billion KRW, and on the 25th of last month, an 84㎡ unit at Banpo Central Xi changed hands for 3.41 billion KRW.
