[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] KOTRA announced on the 26th that it has launched the 'Global Marketing Agency Project' to resolve difficulties faced by domestic export companies due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. This project will be supported free of charge until December 31 of this year to help our companies overcome the pandemic on a temporary basis.
Through 127 overseas trade centers, KOTRA provides seven services on behalf of domestic companies that find overseas business trips difficult: sample proxy delivery, sample response surveys, exhibition proxy attendance, product trend research, local market visits, on-site surveys, and proxy in-depth interviews.
Company T, which received the exhibition proxy attendance service, said, "It was a difficult situation as business trips to attend the Shanghai exhibition were challenging due to COVID-19, but KOTRA's global marketing agency service was very helpful as the overseas trade center directly investigated on-site information and sent it in the form of videos and reports." They added, "We highly recommend this service to domestic companies facing difficulties due to travel restrictions."
Yoo Jung-yeol, President of KOTRA, emphasized, "KOTRA will actively serve as the eyes and feet of our companies in the non-face-to-face era and play a role in resolving difficulties caused by COVID-19."
