Today's Weather Shows Large Temperature Differences... Rain Until Afternoon on the East Coast and Jeju On the 19th, when rain fell sporadically across the country, the sky viewed from Sejong-daero in Seoul was cloudy. Photo by Moon Honam munonam@

[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] On Saturday the 25th, the sky will be mostly cloudy nationwide, with rain expected in various areas including the East Coast and Yeongnam region until daytime.

Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 20 mm in Gangwon Yeongdong and the East Coast of Gyeongbuk, and less than 5 mm in other eastern parts of Yeongnam and Jeju Island.

The daytime high temperature is forecasted to be between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius. The temperature difference between day and night will be large, exceeding 10 degrees, especially inland.

Fine dust levels will be 'Good' across all regions. Until morning, fog with visibility less than 1 km may occur mainly inland.

Sea waves will be 1 to 2.5 meters in front of the East Sea, 0.5 to 1 meter in front of the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in front of the South Sea. Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1 to 3.5 meters in the East and South Seas, and 0.5 to 2 meters in the West Sea.

Along the East Coast and Jeju Island coast, swells will flow in, causing high waves to strongly push onto sandy beaches and overflow coastal roads, rocky shores, and breakwaters, so caution is needed to prevent safety accidents.
