Gangjin-gun, Pianist Yang Seong-won's 'Classic Garden' Performance

Baritone Woo Juho and Tenor Shin Sanggeun Perform Beethoven Piano Sonatas and Famous Opera Arias

[Gangjin＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-su] Jeonnam Gangjin-gun announced on the 24th that a classical concert featuring the sweet classical melodies and clear explanations of pianist Yang Sung-won and vocalists Woo Ju-ho and Shin Sang-geun will be held at 7 p.m. on the 28th at the Gangjin Art Hall Grand Theater.

Pianist Yang Sung-won is a hot classical star who has received many love calls both domestically and internationally, praised by world-renowned pianist Gerhard Oppitz as "an outstanding pianist with profound understanding and interpretation of art and music, combining dazzling technique with appeal and passion."

World-renowned tenor Shin Sang-geun, a leading figure on the New York Metropolitan stage known for his stable and brilliant sound that captivates audiences, and baritone Woo Ju-ho, who has received much love for his excellent expressiveness on famous opera stages at home and abroad, will perform together to present a heavenly harmony filled with humor and laughter.

This concert will feature performances of Beethoven’s beloved works such as the "Path?tique Sonata," the "Waldstein Sonata," which evokes an orchestra with its classical elegance and developed compositional style, "Bakyeon Waterfall (Kim Sung-tae)," "Puccini’s opera Turandot: The Princess Can’t Sleep," "I Will Live in the Green Mountains (Kim Yeon-jun)," and "The Toreador Song" from Bizet’s opera Carmen.

Hosted by the Korea Culture and Arts Centers Association and Gangjin Art Hall through the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s "Culture Day Contest Project," free invitation tickets will be distributed at the Gangjin Art Hall box office on the 27th.
