The 100th Participant in K-water's 'Carbon Reduction Campaign' is Minister Han Jeong-ae

[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] Minister of Environment Han Jeong-ae became the 100th participant in Korea Water Resources Corporation's 'Campaign to Reduce Carbon in Daily Life.'


According to K-water on the 24th, Minister Han participated in the 'Campaign for Practicable Carbon Reduction Activities in Daily Life' on the 23rd, held near Deoksugung Stone Wall Road by the Seosomun Annex of Seoul City Hall, where the fifth hydrogen charging station in Seoul is being established.


Holding a sign that read 'Daily Life with a Tumbler,' Minister Han urged active participation in efforts to practice carbon neutrality in daily life to respond to climate change.


The campaign, which began in June, will continue until December in the form of participation and donations. For each participant, K-water will deposit 10,000 KRW internally, and the collected amount will be donated to organizations working to overcome the climate crisis at the end of the year.
