[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On Friday the 24th, the whole country will be occasionally cloudy with rain on the east coast of Gangwon Yeongdong and Gyeongsang region.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that due to the easterly winds, rain will fall from the morning until the afternoon of the 25th on the east coast of Gangwon Yeongdong and Gyeongbuk East Coast, and from dawn to afternoon on the 25th on the east coast of Gyeongnam and Jeju Island. There will also be some raindrops in other parts of the Gyeongsang region.

Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 30mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, Gyeongbuk East Coast, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo, and around 5mm on the east coast of Gyeongnam and Jeju.

The morning temperature will be around 15 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature around 25 degrees Celsius, with a temperature difference of more than 10 degrees between day and night mainly inland. The highest daytime temperature will be 22 to 28 degrees Celsius, and the lowest morning temperature on the 25th is expected to be 10 to 14 degrees Celsius.

Until the morning of the 25th, there will be fog with visibility less than 1 km mainly inland. As of 7 a.m., dense fog with visibility below 200 meters occurred in some inland areas: Geochang 90m, Boeun 100m, Sangdang (Cheongju) 100m, Yanggu 150m, Janghowon (Icheon) 170m, etc.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Until the day after tomorrow (the 26th), low clouds caused by easterly winds will flow into the mountainous areas of Gangwon, causing dense fog with visibility below 200 meters in some places. Drivers should be cautious about traffic safety."

On the East Sea open waters, from the 24th to 25th, and on the inner eastern waters of the South Sea on the 26th, winds will blow very strongly at 35 to 60 km/h, and waves will rise very high at 1.5 to 4.0 meters, so special caution is required for navigation and fishing operations.
