[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Samsung Electronics has released a virtual tour video on its YouTube channel 'Samsung Electronics Semiconductor,' showcasing the domestic semiconductor campuses along with the production and delivery processes, attracting great interest from job seekers and others.

According to Samsung Electronics on the 22nd, the video series, mainly targeting the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) and consisting of four episodes, has recently surpassed 800,000 cumulative views, gaining significant popularity. First, the episode titled 'Drone Tour of Samsung Electronics Semiconductor Campus' features drone footage from the sky of the Giheung Campus, where the history of Samsung Electronics Semiconductor began, the Hwaseong Campus, the center of semiconductor research and production, and the Pyeongtaek Campus, the world's largest semiconductor complex production base.

The overwhelming scale of Hwaseong and Giheung, the cradles of Samsung Electronics Semiconductor, as well as the construction site of the Pyeongtaek Campus focused on next-generation ultra-fine processes, can all be seen. The follow-up episode, 'Drone Racing,' is characterized by its dynamic and thrilling portrayal of the Hwaseong Campus, as if riding a roller coaster.

A music video-style video was also introduced. In the 'Magic Stone' episode, which symbolizes semiconductors, rapper Wonstein, who has recently gained attention among the MZ generation, personally sang and participated in the production. The video introduces various in-house welfare facilities that job seekers might be interested in, such as Samsung Electronics' in-house fitness center, hospital, swimming pool, and cafeteria, surpassing 400,000 views within a week of release.

Earlier, on the 17th, the 'Semiconductor Dawn Delivery' episode showed the process from the Onyang Campus, where the final stage of semiconductor production?testing and packaging?takes place, to the delivery of products loaded on vehicles to Incheon Airport. It demonstrates how semiconductors are actually packaged and delivered to consumers via logistics vehicles and aircraft, capturing the 24-hour full operation of the workplace and the efforts of the workers.

In addition, online recruitment briefings for each detailed business within the Device Solutions (DS) division, which includes the semiconductor field, are being conducted on YouTube, providing videos with information that job seekers may be curious about.

A Samsung Electronics official explained, "Semiconductors are Samsung Electronics' representative business and attract interest not only from job seekers but also from many citizens," adding, "As experiencing things online has become a trend due to COVID-19 and other factors, we produced the highly popular semiconductor introduction videos in the concept of an online virtual tour."
