Kim Jeong-gi Appointed as the 59th Director of Jeonnam Regional Postal Service Office

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jin-Hyung Park] Kim Jeong-gi, the newly appointed head of the Jeonnam Regional Post Office (age 52), officially took office on the 23rd and began his duties in earnest.

Director Kim stated, "Even amid the global health and economic crises, I will do my best to provide postal services that inspire trust and emotion by cooperating and communicating with the local community, establish a win-win labor-management culture, and create a happy workplace culture based on respect and harmony."

Director Kim graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Control and Instrumentation Engineering, earned a master's degree from the same university, and obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech in the United States.

He entered public service through the 30th Technical Examination and has held various positions including Head of the Green Broadcasting and Communications Technology Team at the Korea Communications Commission, Head of Future Talent Development at the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, Head of Information and Communications Broadcasting Technology Policy Division, Head of Broadcasting Industry Policy Division at the Ministry of Science and ICT, and served at the National Cybersecurity Center of the National Intelligence Service.
