In the weekly women's golf world rankings officially announced on the 21st (Korean time), she received 5.59 points, climbing two spots from 7th place last week. She accumulated points by securing a 2-stroke victory (15-under 201) on the final day of the KLPGA Tour OK Savings Bank Park Seri Invitational (total prize money 800 million KRW) held on the 19th at Silk River Golf Club in Sejong City (par 72, 6,627 yards). This is her first domestic win in 11 months since the KB Financial Star Championship in October last year.
Nelly Korda (USA) remains in 1st place (9.96 points), and Ko Jin-young (26) is 2nd (8.26 points). Ko Jin-young notably claimed victory at the LPGA Tour Cambia Portland Classic (total prize money 1.4 million USD) held on the 20th at Oregon Golf Club in Portland, Oregon (par 72, 6,478 yards), marking the start of a full-fledged ‘Number 1 competition.’ Park In-bee (33, KB Financial Group) is in 3rd place, and Kim Sei-young (28, Mediheal) holds 4th. ‘Domestic Number 1’ Park Min-ji (23, NH Investment & Securities) is positioned at 16th.
