The lectures ‘With Corona, Nutrition!’ and ‘Seed Money App Tech,’ which are open to the general public as well, share methods for nutrition management and everyday financial technology to help residents maintain their health during the COVID-19 era and develop various skills at home.

The district is implementing various policies for the so-called ‘MZ’ generation of young adults in their 20s and 30s within the region, including career exploration programs, moving vehicle support, half-price brokerage fees, and youth savings account appointments.

As jobs are rapidly changing in this era transformed by COVID-19, the district plans to actively support learning and practical experience through on-site education opportunities and specialized training to strengthen young people’s future competencies and prepare them as future talents.

The special lectures, held from October 4 to 29 according to each course schedule, will be conducted using the online platforms ZOOM and Naver Band. Applications can be made through the Seongdong-gu integrated reservation system, and anyone who is a Seongdong resident, employed by a company located in Seongdong, or a university student is eligible to apply.

Jeong Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, said, “Continuous development of future competencies is becoming increasingly important in a rapidly changing society,” adding, “We will continue to provide learning opportunities through various high-quality lifelong learning programs to enhance the capabilities of our residents.”
