Enter Your Home Address to View Incheon Tap Water Supply Routes and Quality Information at a Glance How to Check Water Quality Information and Tap Water Supply Routes at Home [Provided by Incheon City]

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] A web service that allows users to check the supply route and water quality information of Incheon tap water at a glance by entering their home address will be provided.

Incheon City has newly revamped the website that provides real-time automatically measured water quality information of the water supply system so that citizens can drink tap water with confidence 24 hours a day, and the service will start on the 23rd.

The main information provided through the website includes water quality data provided at one-hour intervals from water quality measuring devices, the supply route and water quality information from the water purification plant to the faucet, regular faucet water quality inspection information, water supply construction information, and locations of park drinking fountains.

While the existing website mainly provided local water quality information in text form, the revamped site allows users to enter their home address and check not only the water quality data from measuring devices but also monthly inspected and announced faucet water quality inspection information on a map-based platform, making it easier to check water quality information throughout Incheon.

Additionally, the home tap water quality information service can be accessed not only on computers but also on mobile devices.

Jo In-gwon, head of the Incheon City Waterworks Headquarters, stated, "We plan to expand monitoring points by installing 162 additional water quality measuring devices by the end of the year," adding, "Through meticulous 24-hour water quality management, we will establish a safe tap water supply system and promote transparent waterworks administration that allows any Incheon citizen to check water quality status in real time."

Meanwhile, Incheon City will hold an event from the 23rd until the 15th of next month to coincide with the launch of the water quality information disclosure website. Among the participants, 100 people will be selected by lottery to receive coffee gifticons as prizes.
