Except for Gangwon Yeongdong, the central and Jeolla regions will experience rain in the early morning, while the inland areas of Gyeongbuk and the northwest inland of Gyeongnam will have rain in the morning, mostly stopping by noon. At night, raindrops will fall in parts of eastern Gyeonggi and Gangwon Yeongseo. Jeju is expected to be mostly clear.
Expected rainfall amounts are 10 to 60 mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, and the five western islands, and 5 to 40 mm in Jeonnam, inland Gyeongbuk, northwest inland Gyeongnam, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo.
Until morning, some areas in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong region, and Jeonbuk will experience heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Some regions may also see hail.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 23 and 29 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions.
In the central East Sea offshore, winds will blow very strongly until morning, and waves will be very high. In the West Sea and South Sea, there will be gusts and thunder and lightning until the morning, so caution is advised to prevent accidents.
Wave heights will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5 to 2 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 1 meter in the South Sea nearshore. In the outer offshore areas (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 3 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2 meters in the South Sea.
