Daily COVID-19 Cases in Japan Drop to 3,000 Range

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Japan's daily COVID-19 cases have decreased to the 3,000 range.

According to Japan's public broadcaster NHK, as of 6:10 PM on the 19th, 3,401 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed nationwide in Japan.

This is the first time since July 24 (3,574 cases) that Japan's daily COVID-19 cases have been in the 3,000 range.

Japan's cumulative COVID-19 cases have increased to 1,677,810.
