Emergency Disinfection Conducted Following COVID-19 Confirmation of National Tax Service Staff at Government Sejong Complex

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] The Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Government Complex Management Headquarters announced on the 18th that an employee of the National Tax Service working at Building 16 of the Sejong Government Complex was confirmed positive for COVID-19, prompting emergency disinfection and other measures.

The employee worked on the 15th and 16th, left early on the 17th due to fever symptoms, and underwent a COVID-19 test. It was reported that the positive diagnosis was confirmed around 10 a.m. on the 18th.

Upon receiving the confirmation, the Government Complex Management Headquarters immediately conducted emergency disinfection of the relevant office and common areas. Additionally, employees working in the same office and contacts of the confirmed case were instructed to undergo testing and remain at home.
