[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Commercial banks are conducting various events to celebrate Chuseok.

According to the banking sector on the 18th, Shinhan Bank is running the "Dal Tokki's Chuseok Gift" event until the 30th of this month.

This event was prepared to support customers who comply with social distancing during the Chuseok holiday to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to provide generous gifts through a simple Yutnori game.

The Dal Tokki's Chuseok Gift event features a Yutnori concept where users throw Yut sticks once a day on Shinhan SOL to send the rabbit to its hometown, the full moon. At 7 points, users receive 3 My Shinhan Points, and at 5 lucky boxes, they randomly receive coupons such as a 10,000 KRW discount coupon for Coupang Eats.

In particular, by using message cards to send money or participating in the SOL Quiz, users can gain additional chances to throw Yut sticks, and if the rabbit reaches the full moon, they can receive up to 1 million My Shinhan Points.

Hana Bank is holding the "Hana One Q Healing Finance" event, where customers can enjoy both fun and benefits for Chuseok.

This event, running until the 22nd, includes lucky songpyeon (rice cake) draws, financial investment opportunities with chances to receive up to three chickens, special preferential interest rate savings accounts for the Chuseok holiday, and savings accounts that offer CU and Starbucks coupons.

Additionally, there is an event providing Starbucks coffee and cake exchange vouchers for mobile insurance sign-ups, and an event for Generation Z where recommending the experiential financial platform "iBuja Application (App)" to friends grants both the referrer and the friend 1,000 KRW each.

Woori Bank is also conducting the "Hangawi, Send a Heart Full of Abundance" event until the 30th of this month to celebrate the Chuseok holiday.

This event targets customers who transfer money via Woori One Banking and send message cards, offering a chance to win 20,000 KRW Shinsegae mobile gift certificates (100 winners) and 3,000 KRW CU convenience store mobile gift certificates (300 winners) through a lottery.

Internet-only bank KakaoBank is also running the "Chuseok Lucky Draw" event for Chuseok.

The Chuseok Lucky Draw event runs until the 26th, and anyone who holds a KakaoBank account or uses KakaoBank services can participate.

Participants can enter once daily via the KakaoBank mobile app during the event period, and the winning status can be checked in real time upon entry.

Through a lottery, a total of 100,000 customers will receive prizes including pizza sets (1,000 winners), chicken sets (2,000 winners), cakes (7,000 winners), coffee (10,000 winners), Buldak Bokkeum Myun (spicy chicken noodles) (30,000 winners), and banana-flavored milk (50,000 winners).

Winning customers will receive mobile coupons sent to their KakaoTalk accounts linked with KakaoBank, and the awarded gifts can be checked in the received gifts section of KakaoTalk Gift.
