[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] On the 17th, Kim Eui-gyeom, a member of the Open Democratic Party, announced that he has requested Kim Gun-hee (CEO of Covana Contents), the spouse of former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, to appear as a witness at the National Assembly's Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee's audit.

In a press release issued that day, Representative Kim explained, "I have requested Kim Gun-hee to appear as a witness for the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art audit."

Regarding the reason for the witness request, he pointed out, "Covana Contents is promoting the 'Cartier Collection Exhibition' as their first exhibition project, but in fact, they have no relation to it, do they?"

Representative Kim criticized, "Moreover, as the spouse of a leading opposition presidential candidate, thorough verification is necessary, but the Yoon Seok-yeol campaign is responding in a manner that is like covering one's eyes and pretending not to see."

He continued, "Covana Contents has been able to hold numerous blockbuster-level exhibitions through false exhibition records," and warned, "We will resolve these suspicions through the audit to determine whether this constitutes obstruction of business."
